# About the Lounge Category

The catch-all category. For topics that don’t fit any of the other categories — cross-cutting discussions, industry-adjacent conversations, community chatter, and things that are useful to share but don’t belong under a specific product area.

**Post here if…**

- Your topic is community- or industry-related but doesn’t fit Deployment, Modelling, Extensibility, Integrations, Data & Analytics, or Cloud Services.
- You want to introduce yourself.
- You want to share something industry-adjacent — an event, a paper, a resource, a story from the field.

**Don’t post here if…**

- You have a technical question that fits a specific category — use that category. Moderators may move Lounge topics to a better home if one exists.
- You have community-meta feedback about how the space works — use Community Feedback.

**Format.** Discussion. Open to all authenticated members (customers, partners, CM staff).

**Example good topics**

- “Introduce yourself” — say hi and what you work on
- Industry trends worth sharing (with a link and one paragraph of context)
- Cross-cutting stories that touch several categories
- Vendor-neutral tips relevant to MES practitioners

**Category moderators** LoungeMod (Light-touch moderation — the goal is to keep discussion useful, not to gate conversation).
