When you track in a material the default state change recommendation is to change to productive - when you track out the default recommendation is to change to standby.
Can the default recommendation be configured to recommend keeping the same state as current? I want our IOT Machine status to drive the resource state 100% of the time and the state to not be affected by Track in and Track out activity

the suggested resource state at different operations are governed by the DEE ‘ResourceAutoStateChange’ that comes with the system.
You can change that (what I personally would not do) or create a custom DEE instead that implements your desired behaviour.
To then change from the default DEE to your custom DEE, you have to edit the resprective config entry to your custom DEE: /Cmf/System/Configuration/DeeRules/Material/ResourceAutoStateChange/
Keepin mind though, that this will affect all resources in the system. If you only have some resources controlled by IOT and others are supposed to be affected by the normal state model and auto state change, you would need to model that accordingly in your custom DEE.
