CM Login page and landing page was broken with a red line on top of the page sometimes. This is not persistent, this automatically fixes after 2 to 3 page refresh.

Hi Simon,

Thanks for reporting this intermittent red line issue on the CM Login and landing pages.

To help us get to the bottom of this, could you please share some screenshots of what you’re seeing when the red line appears? Also, please clarify which environment you’re working in (e.g., local installation, training box, or one of your dev/stage/production environments).

In the meantime, here are a few troubleshooting steps you can try, which often help pinpoint these kinds of problems:Troubleshooting Steps

1. Check your container status: See if all your containers are stable and running as expected.
2. Review container logs: Take a look at your UI, Host, and SecurityPortal container logs for any errors or warnings.
3. Use Chrome Developer Tools: Open the developer tools in Chrome and check the “Network” tab for errors when the issue is present. This can often reveal underlying communication problems.

If you find any errors in these places and aren’t sure how to resolve them, please share that information with us. It’ll be a big help in diagnosing the root cause.

Best regards,
João Moreira

Hi,

Thanks for providing the screenshots.

It appears your browser has updates available, which we recommend installing as a first troubleshooting step. Outdated browsers can sometimes lead to the kind of display issue you’re experiencing.

Beyond browser updates, we’ve also seen similar display issues resolved by checking hardware acceleration settings within the browser.

Finally, please check your installed browser extensions, particularly any ad-blockers, to see if disabling them temporarily resolves the problem.

Please try these steps and let us know the outcome.

Best regards,
João Moreira

Hi João,in the past the recommendation always was to not update the browser because specific versions of the MES only supported specific versions of the browser (which has been ignored by everyone because not updating a browser on a system that has access to the internet is a hard no go). Has this policy changed now? Can we expect hot fixes (if feasible and reasonable) if a chromium update breaks stuff?Thank you and best regards, Maximilian
