Docker Engine Version Compatibility and Licensing Update

Hi CM MES Developers,

I want to alert all developers about a critical compatibility break related to Docker Engine versions and our Critical Manufacturing MES releases, particularly concerning the Traefik component.

A change introduced in Docker Engine v1.29 (released November 2025) broke backward compatibility with the Traefik component used in older versions of our MES releases.

If you are upgrading your MES or your Docker environment, you must ensure the versions are compatible to avoid deployment and routing failures.

Compatibility Matrix & Required Action****Docker Engine VersionCritical Manufacturing MES CompatibilityAction****1.28.xMES versions 10.2.12 and earlier, 11.0.5 and earlier, 11.1.8 and earlier, 11.2.1 and earlier****Downgrade/Lock Docker Engine to 1.28.x if running older MES versions.1.29.x or newerMES versions 10.2.13+, 11.0.6+, 11.1.9+, **11.2.2+**Upgrade your MES to a compatible version before updating Docker Engine.

In summary, on your development environment use:

Docker v1.28.x Engine: For MES releases launched prior to November 2025 (e.g., v11.2.1 and earlier).

Docker v1.29.x Engine: For new MES releases (e.g., v11.2.2 and later).
