Material Entity Custom State Model

For our business, need to create a custom state model(Create, Queued, InProcess, Delivered, Completed and Cancelled) and associate this state model with Material Entity.

This state model state automatically change based on some event and it need to reflect in the Material entity. How we can model and automatically change the Material Entity custom state in CMF MES? Please note that we don’t want touch the Material entity OOB state.

The OOB processing states cannot be overriden, you can create your own state model as you described but then you need to identify what are the conditions that should change the state automatically and ensure you have a DEE to perform that change hooked in every trigger point you need (use action groups to do it);
