Missing cmf assemblies in Visual Studio

Hi! How do we setup the Visual Studio environment correctly so we can run back-end code in a local project with intellisense visible?

Hi Mikael,

Can you provide more details on what is your current environment:

  • MES version;
  • Local Environment running on Windows or Containers (and on this case Container Solution).

Best regards,

João Moreira

Hi! The CM MES version is 11.0, we are running on Windows machines, version 10 and 11. We imported the virtual machine in Hyper-V Manager as instructed. We are using Visual Studio 2022 locally, we’ve installed the “MES Extension”, and the connection between the two is working fine when we open VS with “no code”. If we create a project and double-click on an Action, the code will show but all namespaces (like “Cmf.Foundation.Configuration”) are marked with a red line and is unknown, there is no intellisense. We are missing a dependency or something.

I found a URL to your package source: https://criticalmanufacturing.io/repository/nuget/ But I need to login to get access to this .. Can you help me with this?

Hi MiKael, I don’t know which instructions you are following that refer to the usage of Hyper-V Manager.If you are setting up your development environment locally, look at our Getting Started Guide on our developer portal: Authentication Portal I know that for developers starting their journey on MES training/certifications, for some use cases we are recommending the usage of VMs, if this is your case, please ask support to the training team for further clarification.For information on location and setup of CM MES Nuget/NPM repositories, please have a look to the following FAQ:Authentication Portal regards,João Moreira
