Can you please give more details on your local environment setup.
Which MES version are you using? How did you setup your local MES, using "cmf dev"plugin?
Also, can you provide the logon errors in your MES host (Business Tier / Backend)?
Neverthless follow some hints:

Create a local account on your staging MES, set it with a password and proper roles/permissions;

Validate that you are able to logon with it on your MES environment;

Create a new MES backup;
-
Use it to rebuild your local environment.
Then you should be able to use the new local account to login on MES.
