Hi, I have set up the VM for Administrator Training, and have completed the license activation. After starting the Critical Host service, I opened the following link: https://nextgenlab.ngl.local/home. After logging in using the Administrator credentials, I get the message ‘502’ in the alert popup, and the page remains loading without getting into the actual page. Can someone explain to me what is the cause for the error?

Hi, Issue has been resolved after I started the Discovery Services, as shown:

Environments with a failover cluster - as far as I know - the Discovery Service is only running on the active node and the Failocer Cluster Role does manage which Discovery Service is running - at least when not having a load balancer running.
As far as I know, the installer does set the startup mode to manual automatically.
In an environment without a cluster I don’t usually have to have the Discovery Service running for the system to function.
Why in this case did it have to be running? Just trying to learn something new each day, so any hints/explenation would be appreciated
