Use Case Scenario for an Area as Sub Area( (Areatype "Area" with Parent Area)

Hi,

Can anyone help me understand in which scenario we can make Area as Sub Area? I found that we cannot associate any step with Subarea (Areatype “Area” with Parent Area) . What is the use to have this Subarea in our modeling.

Sub-areas can be used for logistics.
For example “Production” area can have sub-areas of “Production Storage” or "Line Storage.
For better usecase, you can refer to the Materials Logistics tutorial.
